Michaela Ballerina Plush 15in

This little doll is named after Michaela De Prince who was born in Sierra Leonean. She was adopted by an American family in 1999 and moved to New Jersey. She was inspired to dance by a magazine cover of a ballerina she found at the orphanage where she in Sierra Leonean. After she moved to America she traqined at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. In 2011 Michaela competed in the Youth American Ballet competiton and was awarded to the American Ballet Theatre's School of Ballet. She then dacned with the Dutch National Ballet, the Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Boston Ballet. She has performed in many ballets including the role of the Sugar Plum Fairty in the Nutcracker, Le Corsaire and Coppelia. She even performed in the "Hope" sequence of  Beyonce's Lemonade.
